Contact collection
Contact collection saves the sender of a form as a contact in your organization, so you get a simple, searchable list of everyone who reached out – and can export it.
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”In the template editor, open Settings → Contact collection, turn on Collect contacts from this template and map template params to contact fields:
| Contact field | Example param |
|---|---|
| Email parameter (required) | email |
| Name parameter | name |
| Extra fields (comma-separated parameter names) | company, phone, newsletter |
Once a mapping is set, every successfully sent message with that template creates or updates the contact identified by the email address:
firstSeenAt/lastSeenAttimestamps,- the list of templates the contact came through,
- extra fields (the latest value wins).
Test sends and auto-replies do not create contacts.
Contacts in the dashboard
Section titled “Contacts in the dashboard”Contacts (in the Audience group of the dashboard menu) lists all contacts with their email, name, extra fields and when they were last seen. You can search by email or name, and owners, admins and developers can Export CSV and delete contacts.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Collecting contacts makes you the controller of that personal data. Tell visitors in your form what you store and why, don’t mark consent checkboxes as pre-checked, and delete contacts on request (deleting a contact also removes its stored fields; a new submission adds it again). Contacts are included in the organization data export and deleted with the organization.
